Rev. Jakob Rolland, chancellor of the Diocese of Reykjavík, Iceland, does not advocate changing “a person’s sexual attraction”. He told the Substack.com account The Pillar (March 31) that accusations he violated Iceland’s ban on “conversion therapy” stem from a “misunderstanding”. Rev Rolland is a French priest who has lived in Iceland for more than 40 years. The controversy arose from an interview with a lesbian journalist from the state broadcaster RÚV. The discussion initially focused on the Eucharist, including the need to be in a state of grace before receiving Communion. The conversation shifted when the journalist asked whether people not living according to Church teaching could receive Communion. She offered her own example: a lesbian in a relationship, asking whether she could receive the Eucharist if she became Catholic. Rev Rolland replied that she would need to reconsider her way of life. When she said she did not want to change, he responded that this was her choice …More
Thomas Sowell grew up in Harlem during some of its hardest years, raised in deep poverty, moving between family members, navigating a world that offered young Black men in mid-century America very few clear paths forward. He left high school without finishing. He took whatever work he could find. Then he joined the Marine Corps during the Korean War, where he trained as a photographer — a practical skill for a young man trying to build something real out of very little. But something else was building too. Books. Questions. An insatiable, restless need to understand how the world actually worked — not how people said it worked, not how it was supposed to work, but what the evidence actually showed. After the Marines, he enrolled at Harvard University. He graduated in 1958. Then Columbia. Then the University of Chicago, where he studied under Milton Friedman — one of the most consequential economists of the 20th century — and earned his PhD in economics in 1968. What set Sowell apart …More

"PSALM 28 Bring to Our Lady, O ye sons of God: bring to Our Lady praise and reverence. Give strength to thy saints, O holy Mother: and thy blessing to those who praise and glorify thee. Hear the groans of those who sigh to thee: and despise not the prayers of those who invoke thy name. Let thy hand be ready to help me: and thy ear inclined to my prayer. Let the heavens and the earth bless thee: the sea and the world. Glory be to the Father, etc."
[Saint Bonaventure – XIII Century AD; Civita di Bagnoregio, Papal States/Lyon, Kingdom of Burgundy-Arles; (Aged 52-53); Cardinal; Teacher of the Faith; Seraphic Doctor; Doctor of the Church; Scholastic Theologian, Philosopher] “PSALM 25 Judge me, O Lady, for I have departed from my innocence: but because I have hoped in thee I shall not become weak. Enkindle my heart with the fire of thy love: and with the girdle of chastity bind my reins. For thy mercy and thy clemency are before my eyes: and I was delighted in the voice of thy praise. O Lady, I have loved the beauty of thy face: and I have revered thy sacred majesty. Praise ye her name, for she is holy: let her wonders be declared forever. Glory be to the Father, etc. PSALM 26 O Lady, may thy light be the splendor of my countenance: and let the serenity of thy grace shine upon my mind. Raise up my head: and I will sing a psalm to thy name. Turn not away thy face from me: for from my youth up I have greatly desired thy beauty and thy …More
I had Grok break down Trump’s EO, and there were some interesting points: 1) This EO includes the involvement of DHS creating state citizenship lists for every state. DHS’s role in election security is expanding. 2) Mail-in ballots are being reformed, with “unique intelligent mail barcodes”, and these ballots can only be mailed to citizens on the state citizenship lists created by DHS and SSA. 3) The order also directs the AG to prioritize investigations and prosecutions of election-related crimes, particularly related to distributing/collecting illegal ballots to/from non-citizens. In conclusion, Trump is using DHS to secure elections via managing the voter rolls and preventing mail-in ballot fraud, while the DOJ has been instructed to prosecute any attempts to cheat. This is what the Dems have been worried about the entire time. This is why they have been refusing to fund DHS and throwing a fit about ICE. It was always about election security. BioClandestine
I found this one of the clearest summaries of what took place concerning election integrity. It’s not an option, not a choice but rather a decision to save the republic and by extension other peoples. It is my opinion that the Church is directly impacted as well.
Warning: Big spoilers ahead! The Academy loves to give Oscars to movies that cater to the elite’s obsessions. For instance, Emma Stone won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role in Poor Things, a deeply unsettling movie that involves a form of pedophilia and other degenerate things. This year, the winner of the Best Actress category went to Amy Madigan for her role in Weapons. Indeed, the Academy loved watching her play an evil witch who uses witchcraft to abduct children … to extract something from them. It’s like a baseball player watching a movie about baseball. They relate to that stuff. The movie’s main promotional image depicts mind-controlled children running towards their witch handler to be exploited. The Academy loved that. But there is more to this movie than a weird old lady doing witchcraft. It is a metaphor for the occult elite’s control over society. And, in a relatively veiled manner, the movie depicts the “farming” of children and their exploitation for youth-…
Queens Parish Brings Stations of the Cross to the Streets A Queens parish brought the Passion of Christ into the streets on March 27, as dozens of faithful took part in a Via Crucis, or Stations of the Cross, procession from St. Leo Church to Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. The walk became a symbolic road to Calvary, drawing parishioners together in prayer and reflection. The tradition began just last year and mirrors similar “Friday of Sorrows” processions held in many countries. currentsnews
Diana Panchenko @Panchenko_X Ukrainian elite doesn’t want the war to stop. Simple example: A small-town customs officer lives in a $1'000'000 house, owns 4 cars, and keeps $250'000 cash at home (per his declaration). At 32 he “got disabled,” now collects a pension and vacations at resorts - all on American and European taxpayers’ money. M'while, ordinary Ukrainians are snatched off the streets like animals. Audit Ukraine!
"23. Father Crasset relates that a certain military officer told him, that after a battle he found a soldier on the battle-ground who held in his hand a Rosary and the scapular of Mary, and asked for a confessor. His forehead had been pierced by a musket-ball, which had passed through the head and came out behind, so that the brain was visible and protruded through each opening, and he could not live without a miracle. He however raised himself, made his confession to the chaplain with great compunction, and after receiving absolution, expired."

A woman of Cologne who had criminal intercourse with an ecclesiastic, found him one day hanging in her room dead. After this she entered into a monastery, where the devil assailed her in a bodily form, so that she knew not what to do in order to be delivered from him. A companion suggested to her to say the "Hail Mary;" and when she did so the demon said: "Accursed may she be who has taught you this," and appeared no more. 19. A certain baron who led a very sinful life was accidentally visited in his castle by a religious, who, enlightened by God, begged him to assemble together all his servants. They all came except the chamberlain. He at last was forced to come in, and the Father said to him: "Now, I command you in …More
Goku @ProjectGokuu Dr. Roger Seheult just revealed one of the biggest studies on sunlight. A massive Swedish study followed 30,000 women for over 20 years and found that those who actively sought sun exposure had dramatically lower death rates from cancer, heart disease, and all causes. The shocking part? Sun avoiders had roughly double the overall mortality. Even heavy smokers who got plenty of sun had similar death rates to non-smokers who avoided it. Sunlight appears to extend life through vitamin D, nitric oxide, and immune support - yet we're still told to hide from it. Are you getting enough sun? — Dr. Roger Seheult (@RogerSeheult) on Steven Bartlett’s (@StevenBartlett) DOAC podcast
