Worse than Germany: Catholic University in Canada Displays Homosexual Features. On the campus of the University of Toronto's St. Michael's College, also known as the Catholic University, homosexual symbols are displayed. These include a large banner and a rainbow crosswalk on St. Joseph Street. In a letter dated 2024, the president and vice-chancellor of St. Michael’s College wrote to a Toronto councilor that the student union had requested the rainbow crosswalk and that the administration supported the proposal. St. Michael’s College was founded in 1852 by the Congregation of St. Basil.
St. Michael's College at the University of Toronto has gone totally pride. From flying the pride flag to rainbow sidewalks to the Drag Show. "Display your pride." It's all about pride in pride. In 2024, in a letter to a Toronto city councillor the St. Michael's President David G. Sylvester writes: The St. Michael’s College Student Union (SMCSU) has requested that a Pride crosswalk with rainbow colours be painted between the John M. Kelly Library and Elmsley Place on St. Joseph Street. The University of St. Michael’s College administration and I enthusiastically support this proposal and commit to the costs associated with the project, as outlined to us, on the University’s behalf. St. Michael’s is a place that welcomes and celebrates the infinite God-given dignity of those who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. From its Inclusiveness Policy, to its Strategic Plan, to the installation of the Progress Pride Flag on the John M. Kelly Library last summer, St. Michael’s …
“At ninety-three years of age, I don’t have enough time to clear my name of every vile falsehood that has been hurled against me in the public square. Yet I will always have time to defend the honour of the Church founded by Jesus Christ and her Sacraments, and I shall do so until the end of my life.” Just weeks before marking the 70th anniversary of his priestly ordination on July 8, a Portuguese Priest finds himself once again defending his reputation against false sexual abuse allegations that were archived by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith in 2023. After years of public accusations, restrictions on his ministry, relentless media vilification, and refusal to defend him by the Archdiocese of Braga, the priest has issued a public Right of Reply and announced legal action for defamation against the accusers. The case has gained renewed urgency as Grupo Vita (created by the Portuguese Episcopal Conference to respond to abuse allegations) prepares to meet Vatican officials …མང་བ།
Worse than Germany: Argentine Priest Celebrates World Cup at Eucharist: On June 15, parish priest Carlos Costale of Río Cuarto, Argentina, posted a video showing World Cup fan props used during an Eucharist celebration. One of the props was a paper bus labeled “La Scaloneta,” the popular nickname for Argentina’s national football team under Lionel Scaloni. The parish priest is already known for his theatrical liturgical experiments, including mixing a fruit salad during a Pentecost Eucharist.
Participants are also instructed to maintain confidentiality and not to give interviews or statements to the press during the Consistory or disclose which cardinal made particular interventions.
University Hospital of Wales – Google Maps Warning: The story contains graphic words. Reader discretion is advised. Forests of trees have been felled in the effort to explain the collapse of trust in the fifth estate; commissions have been created, panels hosted, and teeth gnashed. Trust in the press is in freefall, and this is a disaster — just ask the press. If I were to give a PowerPoint presentation on the collapse in media credibility, I would begin by showing a screenshot of the latest headline-photo pairing currently making the rounds in the UK. The photo is of a middle-aged, hook-nosed man with graying hair and a five o’clock shadow — the sort of image you’d conjure in your mind if someone asked you to imagine a homeless man. The headline, this one in the Express: “Transgender woman jailed for performing sex act in front of horrified nurses.” OK, you think. But perhaps the lede paragraph will rectify this obvious mismatch. Oh, you sweet summer child. Here it is: “A …
The encyclical Magnifica Humanitas is internally inconsistent in its treatment of just war theory. That writes Manfred Spieker, emeritus professor of Christian Social Sciences, on Herder.de on June 16. While he generally praises Leo XIV’s reflections on artificial intelligence, he challenges the encyclical’s call to “overcome” the traditional doctrine of just war. Magnifica Humanitas, drawing on Fratelli Tutti, offers two reasons for moving beyond just war theory: first, that nearly every war in recent decades has been presented as justified, and second, that modern weapons make war an unacceptable solution. Spieker finds neither argument convincing. Regarding the first, he writes: “If everyone who wages a war appeals to this doctrine, it remains necessary to examine who is justified in doing so and who is not.” He adds: “Those who falsely invoke this doctrine will face criticism or rejection. But that does not make the doctrine of just war obsolete.” Nor do modern weapons invalidate …མང་བ།

"After all that, I do not really think I need to produce any more evidence to show that Nazism was a Frankenstein’s Monster, a golem if you prefer, created by ZIM to advance its long-term plans."winteroak.org.uk/2026/01/08/the-acorn-108/
After Hitler was appointed Chancellor, the Nazi’s murdered the Catholic branch of the Nazi party (Gregor Strasser, Priests, others) known as the night of long knives. Strasser wanted to peacefully shut down usury in Germany without war. This always made me suspect infiltration.
Lesbian Teacher Made Female Students Kiss Each Other: The Denver Public Schools board, Colorado, has unanimously voted to fire lesbian teacher Jennifer Honka. An investigation had found that she had required female students to take part in classroom skits involving same-sex kissing. She also repeatedly shared personal details about her private life, including discussions of suicide and childhood abuse. An independent review concluded that her conduct demonstrated poor judgement, caused students discomfort, and offered little educational value. The board dismissed her for incompetence and neglect of duty.

End of an Era: Jesuits Withdraw from Murcia: The Society of Jesus has closed its last remaining community in Murcia, Spain, ending its resident presence in the Diocese of Cartagena. Jesuit Provincial Fr. Enric Puiggròs said the closure is part of a "restructuring" driven by a lack of vocations and the aging of the order's members. The Jesuits' presence in Murcia goes back to the 16th century, shortly after the founding of the Society of Jesus in 1540.
The last Jesuits of the Region bid farewell as they close their Santo Domingo community in Murcia due to 'the scarce vocations and our unavoidable aging'

Cardinal Camillo Ruini, an influential churchmen in Italy, died in Rome on the evening of June 16 at age 95. He had been hospitalized last September with kidney problems and, after an initial recovery, saw his condition worsen in recent weeks. He chose to remain at home under medical care. Born in Sassuolo, in the province of Modena, Ruini was ordained a priest in 1954. He became auxiliary bishop of Reggio Emilia-Guastalla in 1983 and secretary-general of the Italian Bishops' Conference (CEI) in 1986. In 1991, Pope St. John Paul II appointed him to lead the Italian Bishops' Conference, named him Vicar General of Rome, and created him a cardinal. He held the Rome vicariate until 2008 and led the bishops’ conference until 2007. He became, for nearly two decades, one of the closest collaborators of both John Paul II and later Benedict XVI. His tenure as bishops’ president coincided with the collapse of the Democrazia Cristiana, the Christian Democratic party that had been the Church's …མང་བ།
Protestant Prayer and the Catholic Mass as “Different Pathways to God”: “Catholic” U.S. Vice President JD Vance appeared to relativize the Catholic Church and the Eucharist during a June 16 interview on Fox & Friends. Speaking about what he called the strength of “the American church,” Vance emphasized the diversity of [contradicting] Christian denominations: “You can't be an American Catholic or an American Pentecostal or an American Southern Baptist without running into someone who has a slightly different perspective on faith.” He added: “It's all about Jesus.” Vance sees "different ways" by which people find God: “Different ways, sometimes with 'snake handlers' [evangelicals in Kentucky], sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass, but I think all these pathways really matter and they're part of the reason why we do find our path to God.”
JD Vance: "One of the things I love about the American church is there are all of these different pathways to God ... sometimes with snake handlers, sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass. But I think all of these pathways really matter."
How sickening and so very sad. Another branch of Christianity? All these different pathways? There is only one Christian Faith. The Catholic Faith. What is wrong with his mother? Every protestant cult, and it's said there are about 100,000 of them, have a different Christ with their teachings. Then each person within those 100,000 cults also has their own Christ. Taking what they want and changing and denying what they don't want. Many take one thing from one of their cults, another from another cult and so on. They are all scattered and confused. Nothing but demonic chaos. My nephew last year told me 5 new protestant buildings went up on his block alone!
The Rosary as a Spiritual Weapon Just as Our Lady of Lepanto delivered Christendom from physical destruction, the Holy Rosary remains one of our most powerful spiritual weapons against the culture of death, especially the evil of abortion. by Lyn Wade Each time we pray the angelic salutation of the Hail Mary, we not only honour the Mother of God, but also adore the blessed fruit of her womb: Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Son of God, who sanctified the unborn by taking flesh in the womb of the Virgin Mary. Our Response to a Spiritual Battle To confront the evil of abortion, which is deeply entrenched in our society, Catholics cannot rely on secular or political strategies alone. While pro-life rallies and sidewalk counselling have their place, this is ultimately a spiritual battle. For this reason, we must turn with confidence to the enduring power of this Marian devotion: the Holy Rosary. The true battlefront is spiritual, and it is fought on our knees through prayer, sacrifice and …
I am saddened to read this. Our Lady of Fatima clearly stated "only I can help you." So instead of uniting their efforts to stop this "error of Russia," abortion, they fracture and draw attention away from the solution to this problem, the Five First Saturday Devotion, and the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate heart of Mary. I think this is an aspect of the "great deception," to ignore or down play the significance of Our Lady and her message today. Today the Rosary is not enough, but nobody is listening to what Our Blessed Mother of Fatima" said!
